On June 25, it was held the Interregional Meeting of Social Entrepreneurs of the Northwestern Federal District "Social Entrepreneurship - Territory of Opportunities 2021. Drivers of Social Business Development".
This is the fourth Meeting of Social Entrepreneurs, which takes place in Leningrad region, the third meeting, which is held in an interregional format and the first meeting organized jointly by the infrastructure for supporting small and medium-sized enterprises of Leningrad region and St. Petersburg.
The event was held online and offline: at the site of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of Leningrad Region with an online translation on the Fund's youtube channel.
The meeting was opened by Svetlana Nerushay, the chairman of the Committee for the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses and the Leningrad region Consumer Market, by Elena Tseretelli, the director of the Fund for the Development of Small and Medium-sized businesses in St. Petersburg and by Valery Beresnev, the director of the Fund for the Support of Entrepreneurship of Leningrad region.
In the event agenda there were included sensitive discussion issues on the credit banks products availability for social entrepreneurs, which were discussed in the format of an open discussion with representatives of the largest Russian banks: PJSC VTB, PJSC Sberbank, JSC MSP Bank.
The social entrepreneurs meeting continued with the panel discussion "Marketing and promotion of social projects" and with the round table "Social services".
Specialists in the field of social projects promotion especially interested the audience by covering the topic of social advertising and giving the examples of successfully achieved goals.
The round table "Social services" also did not remain indifferent the participants of the meeting thanks to the moderator Tatyana Maksimova, the public representative of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives in the direction of "Social projects", the executive director of the Social Economy Foundation. The speakers paid special attention to state supervision and requirements for providers of social services, to the initiative to create a flexible licensing model and the development of a certification mechanism.
The event was continued by the panel discussion "Opportunities for cooperation of large, medium and small businesses, non-profit organizations in the interests of social entrepreneurs" and the round table "Children's recreation: prospects for the development of the industry."
During the round table "Children's recreation: prospects for the development of the industry" Yuri Karmazin, a member of the St. Petersburg public organization of leaders and organizers of children's recreation of the Association "Adults and Children", focused on the current state of the children's health recreation market by discussing with experts the examples of an effective management. Galina IKuznechenkova, the director of summer camps “Volna” and “Goluboe ozero”, paid a special attention to the topic of cashback for the purchase of vouchers and other measures of state support for SMEs involved in children's health-improving recreation.
The plenary session "Cooperation between the state and business as a driver of social entrepreneurship in the region", moderated by Mikhail Khomich, Deputy Prime Minister of the Udmurt Republic, was held in an interesting and effective format: each moderator had the opportunity to voice the initiatives formulated by the participants during discussions and round tables representatives of executive authorities and infrastructure for supporting small and medium-sized businesses.
The practical completion of the Meeting of Social Entrepreneurs for the participants was the master class "Big goals - small steps", which was moderated by Mikhail Khomich. Within the framework of the interactive event, the participants were not only able to study the working methods of social business development, but also became closer to their goal by studying the nuances of public promises and of the role of mentoring as a development tool.
